About Me

I am a very busy mom of two wonderful kids, with so much to share with you! I will be blogging about my recipes (old faves and new ones), craft and party ideas, and our family adventures!

Thanks to my very wonderful, hard-working husband I am blessed to be able to stay home with my children. Whoever said that a stay at home moms job was easy, was mistaken! Between helping in the kids classes, cleaning, cooking, and grocery shopping I stay very busy during the day. Once the kids get home from school its homework, and either softball, baseball, soccer, or kickboxing. Trying to fit in a decent meal isn’t always an easy task but I find a way to make it happen. Please don’t get me wrong, I am not complaining at all! Being a mom in my opinion is the best, most rewarding job EVER!!!

Hopefully through my blog you will be able to see that I love and adore my family and that I have a passion and an obsession with food.

  2. Hi! Congratulations on having the most important role in the world : ) Being a sahm is the most challenging role for sure, but the joys of being always readily available for your husband and kids is so meaningful and rewarding right?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE being a stay at home mom. I’m exhausted from the round-the-clock demands, but I feel so blessed to be able to care of my home and family exclusively.

Thank you for your interest in my avo-cheesy sandwich. I bet your two kids will like it too.

Looking forward to trying your recipes : )

Btw, we don’t have an oven (we downsized to a studio so I could stay home to take care of our son), so which are some of your recipes that I can easily make on our stovetop?

  3. Hi there busy Mom, we are enjoying your blog and especially love the recipes – even if we have to convert some of the terms into ‘kiwi-isms!. So we have nominated your blog for One Lovely Blog award. Enjoy.
